So, I was thinking about Dia del Oso, which is now on the country horizon. I can almost taste the hot cakes and hear the clinking of the spurs already. I was also thinking about the fact that, despite the fact that maybe 1.3% of the Baylor populous owns one of his songs, we should welcome Jack Ingram in one of the most welcoming ways that we know how: through Twitter.
Lucky for you guys, you have loving bloggers among you that will spend (way to much of) their free time authoring the perfect 140 character welcome mats. Some are generic, some are sorority and fraternity specific, some we suggest should come from one person in particular, but all will let Jack know just how pumped we are to hear…you know…that one song…?
@JackIngram, if there’s one city that is perfect to sing about HEB in, it’s Waco. We have more than Keith Urban has Grammys.
@JackIngram, we love you enough to say, don’t (as many ever’s as you can fit in 140 characters) cover a Hinder song again.
@JackIngram, We’re more excited for you to come than we are for classes the day after you play! Promise!
@JackIngram, I can’t motherlovin’ wait to see you.
@JackIngram, speaking of Keith Urban, you totally pull of woman hair better than he does. Proud of you.
Kappas: @JackIngram, you’re hot, right?
KOTs: @JackIngram, We have a mixer that you’re welcome to come to after the show. Please. Please, please, please. #please
Pi Phis: @JackIngram, we think you’re hotter than Kappas do.
Tri Delts: @JackIngram, You’ve done inspiring work that provokes a lot of thought. We have a few grammatical suggestions. Sincerely, Delta Delta Delta.
SAEs: @JackIngram, dude. ur wilder than our parties. keep rockin.
Alpha Chis: (same as above)
Chamber: @JackIngram, We love you! We love Baylor! We love Dia del Oso! We love your songs! We love your guitar! #OMG!
Kim Mulkey: @JackIngram, you have a long night ahead of you on the 14th. Get your act together. Keep your head up. Run sprints. You can do this.
Ken Starr: @JackIngram, don’t listen to those picky students. It’s not your fault that you have to follow Colbie Caillat.
Common Grounds: @JackIngram, you’re always welcome back to play on our stage, bro. We feel we’d be your perfect venue.
They’re all 140 characters or shorter, I promise. And if any of you all actually tweet these, that’d be really, really funny. You know the drill, make sure to #bucampus it.

This was great. the #please was hysterical.
An ATO tweet is needed since apparently Jack Ingram is a SMU ATO alum.
